Sam Gets Interviewed

Well Troopers,

Great news! Our very own Sam who is getting Lost for HOT on 8th May 2010 is being interviewed today by our good friends at BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service).

His interview won't be aired until next week, but rest assured we will keep you all posted so that you can listen in.

Now Sam remember to breathe....................!

Well the team at HOT have come up with a grand idea.......................

They want you to take a pic of you celebrating St. George's Day and send it in to them.

They will then choose the best ones - so no rude ones please - and post them up on their website.

Sam Gets LOST for HOT

Sam isn't just any student at Loughborough University - he supports Honour Our Troops and in doing so he is going to get LOST for HOT during Loughborough University Student Union's RAG Week.

On the 8th May 2010 our Sam is going to be dropped off in the middle of nowhere in England (about 100 miles away from his Uni) and has to find his way back to Loughborough University with only the clothes on his back!

That's right - NO money, NO supplies, NOTHING to help him except his charm, good looks, wit and intelligence. So no mean feat then..........

Sam is asking everyone to help support him and sees your donations to his JustGiving page as your way of giving him support and getting him back to his HQ!

Sam is also giving a radio interview to our very own BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) on thursday which will be aired next week. We will keep you all posted so you can listen in.

Sam has already raised £179 so far and his target is £300 so he is over half way there!

HOT Gains Two More Honourable Patrons

Well, all you Troopers out there Honour Our Troops is delighted to announce that Major General Sir John Swinton KCVO OBE and his lovely wife Lady Judith Swinton have become Honourable Patrons for HOT.

HOT Midsummers Ball Receives £100 Donation

The Honour Our Troops Midsummers Ball being held on the 26th June has received a surprise donation of £100 from Border Insurance in Kelso!

They wish us all the best with the Ball and are delighted to be supporting Honour Our Troops.
